Yossi is a 3rd year student is the Sapir College near Sderot. One day, Yossi meets Michal in the Shelter during a “Red Color” alarm and he falls in love. The problem is that Michal rarely visits Yossi’s Campus. Yossi reallizes that he will only be able to see her again if he arranges “Red Color” alarm during Michal’s visits, therfore, Yossi and his roomate Simon close a deal with two Hamas activists.
Unexpectedly, it turns out that almost everyone in the campus, has an interest in having a “Red Color” alarm at a certain point in time. Including the College President

“Taliya.Date.Com” is a creative documentary that tells the story of Taliya Finkel’s quest for finding love in the estranged world of Internet dating. This quest is based on a mouse, a keyboard and Photoshop tricks.

After every date, Taliya writes a “documentary poem.” She easily transforms what most singles consider as distress into poetry and cinema.

In this comic-tragic voyage with the guidance of her flat-mate Oded (extravagantly &cynically gay), she wanders from hope to humiliation and a few shabby Tel Aviv apartments. In addition, she drinks 45 cups of coffee (mostly soy latte) and gets involved with a few men and a single Husky puppy.

This movie portrays the bizarre, as well as normal, aspects of internet dating that are well known to every single who plays the romantic internet game in order to snatch the ultimate prize: True Love.

The movie may, at first glance, seem like a romantic comedy. Still, it also contains a feminist message and uses an unusual combination of methods such as documentation, poetry and acting; as may be expected of a film that describes the modern, yet chaotic, world of Internet dating.

Gefilte Fish

Gali’s family has a long-lasting tradition whereby every woman who is engaged to be married has to prepare Gefilte Fish for the wedding party. Gali, who is engaged to Yaron, has received a to-be-cooked living carp from her mother and grandmother. She is torn between the pity she feels towards the fish and the need to abide by her family tradition.

The Fox

Amitz Dolniker, an uptight Israeli politician has a heart attack in the middle of his speech. His doctor advices him to “go someplace quite, rest, and don’t make speeches”. His young assistant Immediately suggest they go to Switzerland, however Dolniker had taken a vow not to leave Israel unnecessarily, so he comes up with a different idea – going to a remote village where they have never heard of him. As they arrive, it turns out that not only the villagers have never heard of Dolniker, but they have also never heard of running water, electricity, phones, and most importantly: TV, Radio, and newspapers.

Je T’aime I Love You Terminal

Menkin takes Ben, a modern day 29 year old Israeli Hamlet who plays the guitar and still lives with his parents, and launches the flirtatious, outrageous, and somewhat dysfunctional Emma right at him. The romantic encounter is punctuated by ever so slightly ironic commentary at critical junctures in the plot, and moves to the music of Meir Ariel, Panic Ensemble and Keren Ann. Tender, funny and fast-paced, the film strikes all the right notes and give a familiar genre a playful twist.
