Shuli dreams of life in another place, maybe Tel Aviv. In the meantime she lives in a god-forsaken desert town and works in a spring factory. Eli, the local macho, tries desperately to win her heart, and brings her a foreign worker to do her work as a present. An unexpected twist in the relationships and Shuli might see her dreams come true.

Yazen, a South Lebanese boy, dreams about being a film director. He joins, with his video camera, the Hezbollah forces during the Second Lebanon War. As he is filming an encounter with the Israeli forces, he is captured by Arik, an Israeli soldier. Arik drags Yazen to his post and discovers his video camera. The confrontation between the two is inevitable.

Deserted

Two (female) soldiers are alone in the Israeli desert as a part of their final Officers’ school Exam – A land navigation. Things are getting complicated when one of them can’t find her weapon.

In Papa’s Words

“My dear sweethearts, today I discovered that in spite of everything, I only have four-five months of normal life left. Starting today I will be talking to you as long as my hand can hold a pen.” Anna (the director) was four years old when her father, Dr. Semyon Gurevich, passed away in the Soviet Union. Years later, in Israel, she finds his diary and discovers the legacy her papa wanted to pass on to his daughters after learning he had just months left of his life.

1 Building and 40 People Dancing

Across from the municipal music hall in Bat-Yam, there is a large, run-down concrete building. It was built as part of the public housing project in the 50s, and most of the tenants have been living there since. The gap between the two buildings is so much larger than the actual distance.

Crossing

A drag queen trio performs at underground queer parties in Jerusalem. After a year performing together, they are facing their final appearance. The film follows them in the days leading to their last show, as their personal lives, conflicts and critique are expressed on stage.
