A Universal Language, documents the exciting once in a life time journey of six Canadian comedians, among them Canadian comedy icon Mark Breslin, as they explore comedy, identity and history throughout the Holy Land and use the weapons of comedy to try and bring laughter to the Middle East.
When they move to Israel to explore their Jewish heritage and revive their failing marriage, fifty-something French emigres Alain and Gisele Gaash arrive in Tel Aviv to find their luggage lost, their apartment gone, and Alain’s new job taken.
The fourth sequl of Lemon Popsicle, is about hree Israeli friends – Bobby, Benji and Hughie – joined the mandatory army drafted, but they’re not quite ready to give up the freedom they’ve enjoyed for so long and submit to army discipline. They spend most of their time chasing women, trying to get out of doing any work, and avoiding their no-nonsense sergeant.
Comedy drama about an aging actress who is loved by everyone. She is given another chance at stardom in an American film, takes it and has a wonderful romance. However her dreams are dashed when she discovers that she has cancer, so decides to leave life as she lives it – on stage.
