Into the North

Directed by: Natasha Dudinski
89 Minutes, 2015

A group of Czech teenagers sets out on a journey to the North. Without their parents or any one else to look after them, they have only each other. That’s how their greatest adventure starts. They spend four years in Denmark, an oasis in the midst of raging World War II. Thanks to this move they survive and succeed in starting a new life. More than seventy years later they are ready to tell their story: a coming-of-age refugee story with a happy ending courtesy of thousands of openhearted Danes.
