Felix is a legendary mountain climber, who is diagnosed with ALS at the age of 38. The doctors say he has one more year to live. Nevertheless, he sets off on his life’s last climb – a 1,200 m. high mountain, using a special device adapted to his disability. In addition, he falls in love with his young caretaker and eventually marries her. In the journey’s end we’ll know: will Felix receive the needed publicity to raise research-funds? If a cure is found, will he be able to save his own life? Will he live to be a father?
