Another Land

Directed by: Amit Goren
82 Minutes, 1998

Goren’s narrative weaves its way between two extremes – security and peace of mind, on the one hand, chaos and confusion on the other. Personal and public events in Israel, a country where separating the two is nearly impossible, are intertwined, spanning a period of six years (1992-98) during which the peace process with the Palestinians came into being and a rebuilding of Goren’s own home began.
