Eti Tsicko

Director, Nandauri

Born in 1982, to immigrant parents from Georgia.  She graduated from The Steve Tisch School of Film & Television at Tel Aviv University. Her short films “Daswarilli” (Stained), “Audition”, “Dog- Leash” (Cannes Film Festival) and “Ruso” were screened at festivals in Israel and worldwide.

In 2025, her debut film “Nandauri” premiered at the Jerusalem International Film Festival, where it won Best Debut Film and Best Cinematography. It recently won 5 Ophir Prizes (Israeli Academy Award), including Best Director, Best Lead Actress, and Best Cinematography.

Today, Eti is working on the development of her second feature “Mother Tongue” which will also be filmed in Georgia and on the development of her TV series “Curse”, in addition to being a lecturer in film directing, script and acting at the Tisch film school at Tel Aviv University.
