Esther, an American woman (Mili Avital), travels to Jerusalem to search for a missing part of her family history. With the help of an Israeli professor (Ori Pfeffer), Esther discovers a shocking truth about herself and how it all connects to the era of early settlers in the 30’s. This surprising English-language romantic drama, uniting the past and the present, is based on the novel “The Loves of Judith” by the beloved author Meir Shalev.
