The journey of young Estonian girls that are smuggled through Egypt to be auctioned off as prostitutes in Israel. We then see a border of barbed wire and a group of young women being led to the other side. This marks both the end and the beginning of their voyage, for all are Eastern Europeans destined to become part of the flesh trade, which clearly has a place in modern Israel. Their promised land is not a place of milk and honey, but instead quite the opposite: a sordid, anonymous, surreal non-place, where they are hustled and moved around like cattle, afforded little dignity, stripped of their individuality and sent out to pay their way.

A group of Jewish-Israeli activists refuse to sit back while the occupation continues. They bring food into Palestinian villages under curfew, tear down parts of the separation barrier, and serve as human shields for Palestinian demonstrators. In Israel they are ostracized; in Palestine they endure a similar fate to that of the Palestinians. They are beaten, sprayed with tear-gas, and shot at with rubber-coated bullets. One such bullet hits one of the film’s main characters, a 16 year old boy from Tel Aviv, in the head, permanently impairing his eyesight. The heroes of Enraged jolt viewers out of their passivity, forcing them to ask: what can I do to end the occupation?

Enraged, directed by Eyal Eithcowich, premiered at the Haifa International Film Festival, was broadcast many times on Israeli TV, and was screened in festivals and other venues in the U.S. and Europe.

In 2003, in a controversial incident, 22-year-old American peace activist Rachel Corrie was killed while attempting to stop an Israeli military bulldozer from demolishing homes in Gaza. Rachel is a dispassionate but devastating essay investigating the circumstances of her death-including astounding eyewitness testimony from activists, soldiers, army spokespersons and physicians, as well as insights from Corrie’s parents, mentors and diaries. It quietly raises troubling questions while painting a complex portrait of a committed activist.

Sivan, a 22 year old kibbutznik struggles with memories of her father who sexually abused her. The present intermingles with the story of the past: the institutions which lacked the sensitivity to deal with her trauma, the silence and impenetrability of the kibbutz, the indifference of the police and the legal system and the family that doesn’t know how to cope. After seeking professional help, Sivan decides to sue her father and take a stand against him for the first time.

Yusuf, a Palestinian in his fifties, kidnaps a soldier, and takes him to a dark cave seeking revenge for the humiliation he and his wife experienced in a military checkpoint.
