Across The Waters

Directed by: Nicolo Donato
95 Minutes, 2017, Drama

In a gripping story of survival and rescue, jazz guitarist Arne Itkin, his wife, Miriam, and their 5-year old son Jakob are forced to flee their home following an overnight raid in Nazi-occupied Denmark. They are aided by an underground resistance and a church pastor, who help them arrive at a nearby village to await passage to Sweden by boat. With danger lurking at every corner, Arne and his family are forced to put their fate in the hands of complete strangers–whose motives and allegiance are also unclear.
