Shira Haas



Internationally renowned actress Shira Haas has been  called “The Face of Israeli Film.” In the last year, she won the Independent Spirit Award and was nominated for both a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award  for her starring role in the hit Netflix series  “Unorthodox,” and won the Tribeca Film Festival  Award for Best Actress and Ophir Award for Best  Supporting Actress for her performance in “Asia.”

Haas will soon go into production on the limited series “Lioness.” Produced by  Barbra Streisand, Nina Tassler and Denise Di Novi, the highly anticipated series  tells the story of Golda Meir and her rise to becoming Israel’s prime minister.

Haas currently also stars in the standout role of Ruchami on the international hit  series “Shtisel.” On the big screen, Haas co-starred opposite Jessica Chastain in  Niki Caro’s 2017 film “The Zookeeper’s Wife” and appeared in Natalie Portman’s  “A Tale of Love and Darkness.”
