Memories of moments when immigrants lost their childhood, when they were only five years old, six or ten. How were the playground, and parents handed them over adult men in many of them. From the moments when memories pop up caught in a cycle of violence and fear, as they became pregnant girls aged 11 or 12 and they themselves become mothers childhood. Then buried secret. Apparently an open secret, but one that has not been exposed, that the mere exposure may break up the family unit, the familiar reality and make a commotion and chaos. The memories of childhood have haunted disaster but repressed again and again for the benefit of children, livelihood and husband. No more.
